I would really appreciate some help on this. I'm trying to distinguish whether this is an original or a repro. I've been looking at the tell-tale signs and have familiarised myself with some key things but I still can't tell for sure.
For your information - there are no maker's marks, the seat and ottoman cushion are interchangeable and the ottoman does not swivel.

Wow, it's quite a repro. But like Mark said, the back braces don't look like that and the mounts on the back should be bigger. I've never seen cushion backings like that either although they have changed over the years. The current production has the rectangular clips whereas pre-71's productions had round clips. This looks very new but has the round clips. The configuration of the inside veneer also doesn't match anything like the original.
The A-face is smooth and seems to match the outside veneer though. Good job on that.
It's a nice copy, eapecially from the front. How much are they asking?
