Hi, I'm new here,, just looking for some guidance on a purchase, I'm looking to buy an early Eames LCM in great condition all original, anyone have an idea of what this should cost me? the prices I'm finding are all over the map but I'm not experienced enough to know what a fair price is.

It sounds like you're selling, not buying...
But whatever. At auction, an absolutely pristine example of a 65-year-old Evans LCM might sell for $800-$1000. Newer or less-perfect chairs are worth less: You might be able to get around $300-$400 on Ebay for a decent HM chair.

Depends on the age and condition
$300 is possible for a vintage LCM... nicer ones can go for $500 and up.

What are you guys smoking?
The Ebay auction for the $450 chair -- which appears to be a nice early one with transitional mounting hardware for the front shockmounts -- just ended. No bids.
The earlier auction "that ended for the same price"? Ended, yes. Sold, no.
I'm standing by my previous value assessment.

I'm thinking that those chairs selling for high prices are going international. The exchange rate being an advantage for them. I think this may be what caused a surge in prices around 2007 onward. Thousand dollar plus DCWs & LCWs became the new gold standard. The DCM's and LCMs were going $250 upwards to $800. Recently there was a Evans DCM that went for over a grand. Prior to that the various plywood chairs lines were going for rates under $500. The example that FF linked us to, I personally think that price is a high for that production. Maybe to someone in France, it's a steal.

Whitespike
Makes me laugh.
In local vintage shops I have seen LCMs go for anywhere from $250 - $500, again depending on age/condition/color. The most recent one coming to memory was $475 - aniline black, black frame, early (I believe Evans production)
