Hi there-
I picked up a vintage Eames Aluminum Lounge Chair and Ottoman the other day ($200 bucks--needs work), and I believe I need to replace the cylinder piece of the swivel that the mounting bolt slides through (that mounts the base to the chair). The chair falls all the way "back" in the resting position and doesn't have any firmness to it. You know, if you lean back too quickly it feels like it's going to topple over on you. I've taken the base off and apart, and will upload a pic. If anybody knows where to get these pieces (and replacement fabric for the seat and ottoman), I'd greatly appreciate the info.

Thanks much-
Flip

Working with fabric
I have two Eames vintage - four legs rather than five - aluminum lounge chairs one of which has a broken aluminum yoke and some damage to the chair frame itself. The fabric is secured to the frame by a series of brass pins that pass through matched wholes in the frame and through the fabric. I need to do some welding on the frame and can not figure out how to remove the fabric in a way that it can be put back on.
Any thoughts or insights on this issue
