Does any one know of the Architect Doug Wixon AIA.
He designed my home a Frank Lloyd Wright, Richard Neutra style house
in 1966 in Tulsa Oklahoma.
The home is a wonderful 5000 sq ft multi levels, brick and redwood, design and is going to be featured first in a local magazine here in Tulsa and then in a national magazine , We are trying to obtain some data on this architect since we had heard that he passed away in the 1970's and can find little of his work in this part of the country .
I'd love
to see a pic of your house. Let us know when it will be published.
There are so many undiscovered practitioners around the country who contributed to their own communities without achieving wider renown. Some are being rediscovered.
I did a search for your architect on LottaLiving but his name didn't turn up. Have you seen any other houses in the area that might be by the same hand ?

thanks for the info it is very helpful. I have enclosed a few exterior pictures of the house and 1 interior pictue the house is truly a gem and it has been more fun filling it with midcentury gems that i have been collecting for years just waiting for the right house to show all of them off.

to answer your question I don't think Wixon did any other houses like this in Tulsa Okla a conservative type of Town with not that many true mid-century wonders we do have few wonderful styled homes built in the 50's by Don Hon who was a student of Frank Lloyd Wright and we have a Frank Lloyd Wright original built in 1936 called West Hope and that is a true Gem WE have several Stream Line modern homes designed in the late 30's by Donald Mccormick . My House is one of a handful that is a true mid-century modern delight . Other homes were designed by the great Texas architect O'Neal Ford ,
