Adding to the debate
There is a furniture maker in Haslev, likely several. http://en.haslev.com/
It is unusual for a Dane to express a very common name like Jensen without using an in initial or the middle name. People often use their middle name if they have a common surname.
There ia a designer called Poul M Jesson.
I think you guys might be confused about who designed the Z chair. Not certain anyone else is.

He was married to Anna Maria Indrio and they had a studio together. He is also credited with working on a church in Slagelse.
middle name might have been Helge

Poul Jensen / Poul Thorsbjerg Jensen / Spidertable
Why not Poul Thorsbjerg Jensen. My father used the name Poul Jensen why the compagny name was Chr. Jensen Møbelfabrik A/S, Haslev.
Møbelfabrik means furniturefactury. Haslev is the city.
Selig wrote Copenhagen as nobody new Haslev 60 km from CP.
So, in businessrelations he always presented him self as Poul Jensen.
He was born 10/12-1922 and he died 28/04-2006
Thorsbjerg is the name of the place where my grandfather Christian Jensen was born.
Regarding the spidertable I can tell you that I remember my father worked on the prototype for several nights before a visit from Mandy Selig (Mendell M. Selig).
He came once a year sometimes together with Bob Wexler.
Mandy Selig have had polio and was walking with 2 cruthes,
so if was a long trip for him.
Specialy the legs of the table were difficult, the structure in the wood should be very precice to make it strong enough.
But is was ready and it was bought for production.
This wonderful table staid in my home until my mother died.
It was sold in february 2012 at Lauritz.com.
