I have what I believe is a Gio Ponti ladder back chair. It is 51 3/4" high. The seat measure 16 1/2" wide at the front and 13" wide at the back and is 16" deep. A decal on the inside of a front leg says "MADE IN ITALY". The rush seating needs repair, but I am hesitant to have it replaced in the event it detracts from the value. My questions are:
- IS this a Gio Ponti piece?
- Should I have the rush seating replaced or repaired or neither?
- What is the value of this chair?
- If I decided to sell it, should I sell it As-Is, and where is the best place to sell?
