I found this dining table and 4 chairs at a junk shop for $100. It is a drop-leaf with a center leaf, as well. The supports for the leaves are unlike what I've seen on other drop-leaf tables so I included pictures to show how they work. The cutouts on the back of the chairs make me think they're verging on MCM but I'm not sure. Any ideas? I can't seem to find anything like it.
The varnish had heat damage and discoloration from the leaves always being down, so I had a light resurfacing done. Not sure what kind of wood it is. The chairs had 2 layers of ugly fabric glued and stapled over the tops of the original fabric, pictured is one that's been stripped down to the base layer.
It doesn't matter to me if it's valuable or by a known manufacturer, I love it no matter what, but sometimes it's nice to know what you have. Thanks for looking!

klbvxf,
I am sometimes falsely accused of replies to postings that do not meet others high standards of writing and etiquette (some nut that worships things). I will do my best to help.
I would not classify this dining table and 4 chairs as remotely MCM. It reminds me of furniture from the 50's and 60's marketed to the swelling middle class by the retailers Thomasville, Lane, Broyhill and a host of other US manufacturers and assorted sellers (department stores sold furniture during this period).
Most pieces made in the USA at this time reflect the highest standard of American craftsmanship with quality materials. This appears to be a good value at $100.00 and theoretically with normal "wear and tear" should last another 50 years.
Being happy with what you have is important. I am happy for you.
