Desk Lamp - Memphis? Sottsass?

I bought this lamp about 15 years ago at an estate sale. Seller claimed it was Sottsass, but I never verified. I have never seen another or any reference to this lamp being Memphis.
T\It is extremely well constructed. There are no markings
I would appreciate any insight.

Isnt the Ettore Sottsass stuff usually clearly marked?

I have always been very skeptical that it's Sottsass. I think it's more likely Lawrence Laske, who studied with Sottsass. But, I still cannot find any reference of the maker/designer of this lamp.

Not Memphis
Isn't in any Memphis catalog but does look Italian from late 80s or early 90s.

Follow Up
I'm posting this as reference. I found this Italian auction house (Novars), listing the lamp as Sottsass Associati. Manufactured by Bieffeplast, 1983.
