I like to know who designed...
I like to know who designed the pieces of furniture I buy especially if I aim to sell it on.I prefer to dig as deep as possible to find out as much as possible on things I buy so that what I say it is when selling it is the best information I can give the new owner.
nice sideboard Monsta.
Is your top gloss black as well?
The year it was made is less important. I think the designer will be found out
eventually. The condition being mint is most important. It has been well taken
care of and you will as well.
I think postings with all caps and extra exclaimations relay a bit of panic.
As if your beloved credenza fell off a truck and crushed a small child.
Take no offense.
So many people get obsessed about value with no passion for learning.
I would make sure you save all your findings in a bookmark folder. Keep it
all together nice and tidy. Save photos of similar designs. Soon you will have
a nice base of knowledge for future collecting.
Glenn of California Credenza Age
Hello,
I have the same credenza and believe mine to be from approximately the year 1964. I feel that date is correct because mine has a personal tag, or sticker, from a big Phoenix car dealership on the back (the kind a large business would use to inventory their business possessions.)
That dealership opened in the year 1964. I theorize that they purchased the credenza for their new store.
Hope this helps.
