As the North American and EU economies slide into the rediscovered country of standards of living plummeting toward subsistence level for tens of millions more persons, and as persons work more and more for less and less, when they work, it seems a truly affordable (durable, fixable and good in the sense of a VW, or a 2CV) easy chair is going to be needed by exhausted wage and debt slaves to collapse into, because they cannot afford to go out.
