Wishing....
Wishing we all lived closer, really...! When my hub walked in this afternoon after being at a vintage car show in Port Townsend he was going on about a 55' Porsche Speedster. I had just finished reading the posts about watches and cars so I pushed the ipad into his hands and said 'READ THIS'. He grew up in a car crazed family in Phoenix with a dad who collected watches.... Lots of watches....and lots of cars!.!
Nothing wrong
with a bit of poetry. But aren't haikus meant to have seventeen syllables ?
Maybe Mark's are modernist, free-form haiku . . .
I just looked it up; yes, but also there are three lines, with 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively. I didn't know that part when I made a few of these, 55 years ago . . .
September haiku
The beach, with water
warmer than in June, deserted
seagulls and shells
Bahahhahaha!
Time for a sweet little video.
Always buzzed, always twisted.

There I am,
in the bathroom (as usual). I recently trimmed my beard -- but not that much !
Did Mr Voiceover really say the room is lighted with "glare-free, shadow-free panelescent panels" ?
Excellent poetry, EamesHead. There's a new career waiting for you when you tire of trading in the past (that's like futures trading, but with collectables . . .) !
Not THAT guy...
That voice on the videos is way too familiar.
It has to be the same guy that did all of those grade school movies I slept through in the early 60s.
Couldn't they let someone else besides him do the voice-over? Just once? He was #%**g everywhere. I'm gonna have nightmares now, of him narrating my sorry life in his optimistic tone.
SDR, my second haiku has an extra syllable. Thanks for not busting my chops.
I hope your new movie career really takes off.
