I got this coffee table from an estate sale along with some other items. I know this must be Danish since the house had nothing but Danish furniture. It is not marked though.

Perhaps the details in the joints help you ID this table. The legs are joined at a 45º angle. The bottom bars that holds the middle board have this cool organic shape. The table is solid like a rock.

This comes from the same estate sale where I got the a bunch of danish stuff including Arne Vodder, Sibast, Domus Danica.

Coming from this source, any guess?

Thanks!

I
have a very similar, but smaller, table by Bramin
But that is clearly marked.

Stamped or labeled?
Is your table stamped in the wood or does it have a label?
Most of the furniture in this state sale had label stickers, only the accessories were marked into the wood.
Do you have a photo of your table? I tried google but I didn't find any tables by Bramin.
Thanks!

Hi
I've arrived at my weekend home and looked at my table
There are some differences- the undertier on mine has a lip and can be removed as a tray- so yours may not be the same maker after all.

Thanks
Hmmm, out of luck I guess. Thanks for checking though.
I've looked for hours and hours over the internet and haven't found even a clue.
Any other takes?

Updates...
Someone on ebay is selling the exact table but they don't know who made it either.
I also saw a table with similar 45º angle by Vejle Stole, but not the same though. http://www.flickr.com/photos/11259118@N05/3241824195/
Other than that, the table is still a mystery.

Could this have been made by Povl Dinesen of Denmark?
I found a table extremely similar to this one stamped Povl Dinesen Cabinet Makers of Denmark. The legs and bottom structure look different and better built on mine. The shape of the top is almost identical. It is curved almost like a surfboard, not straight just like one of the photos there.

Are the legs
like an upended U from the side? A continuous leg?
Mine says made in Denmark (duh) and .......(cannot read) Brik Handerslev. Cannot make out before Brik or anything else.
but other than that mine side tables REALLY look like the table

Thanks for the reply!
Thanks for the reply! No the legs are not continuous, they are screwed into a frame at an angle. Do you have pictures of yours?
