absolutely love the desk
as I said
I was once a well paid middle manager at a big firm you all have heard of. It "restructured" I got "restructured". My wife went back to work and I watch the kid. Works for both of us.
I buy quite a bit of stuff. I sell about 50% of it. I thought I was pretty savvy about identification, etc. This forum has shown otherwise. I love furniture and design. I may be making excuses, but I think I perform something of a service by crawling around smelly thrift stores etc. to find wonderful items for those who still do have full time, well paying jobs.
I think there is a place here for ID with intent to sell, and to keep the sanity I think it could be made explicit. Note, I have been drinking good beer so I may be more effusive than usual.
Happy Holidays

Waffle, good point and very well made
Such a refreshing change to have a non-agressive response, effusive, but not offensive. I wholeheartedly agree.
Have a great Christmas
Dan

I knew I had seen that desk...
I knew I had seen that desk before!
Designed by Erik Buck for M.J. Madsen Circa 1966
I have attached a pic from the furnitureindex. It looks like your desk is missing the back piece that looks like woven cane.
Nice desk!

Thanks again mdcounts
Hopefully I can return the favour one day. It's good to see that there are still helpful members on this forum, who actively want to share their knowledge.
I also think that this adds to what is already a great reference. I often do searches on this forum when trying to ID items, hopefully this thread will help someone else in the future.
I forgot to add that I do have the vanity board too, but I thought it photgraphed better without it.
