Is it possible to swap base glides? (The plastic feet.)

I have a stacking base with a broken one and I want to know if I can replace it with one from an abandoned, rusty DCM base I have.

I know that lots of Eames design is interchangeable, but I don't want to start yanking on things without some advice.

Does this make sense?

This seems difficult
Okay so, I've started yanking on these things and so far nothing is happening. Do I just need to pull super hard?
First image shows the broken glide.
Second image shoes the the glide on the right from the DCM base I want to replace with.

What I did
I used pliers and twisted up on the part pressed into the leg, once there was a small gap, I used a screwdriver to pry it out(I rotated the spots so it didn't just bind). If you pull on the foot(part that moves) it will break off.
