Can anyone identify this midcentury Teak Sofa?

I inherited this piece from an ex roomate. This sofa has some wear and tear but has great details and appears to be of very high quality. I believe this is teak but dont know anything else about it.
Can anyone shed any light on this piece?

I don't believe it's teak....
I don't believe it's teak. It received a dark varnish, to imitate a hardwood, I assume.
