came across Braun: Fifty Years of Design and Innovation in a shop, it's a really nice book there is also Dieter Rams: Less and more. Just wondering who on here has got the latter, if it's any good and if there's anything else worth getting on the man

I have "Less and More"...
and it's a BEAUTIFUL book. Great photography and the slipcover is great. Haven't READ it but I'm very happy with my purchase. I recommend it from an aesthetic standpoint, can't really speak to the literal content for you.

Agreed, "Less and More" is...
Agreed, "Less and More" is beautifully photographed. I haven't read any of it yet either, but would recommend it nonetheless.

I also have a copy of Furniture Systems of Dieter Rams (i think thats what its called) but Less & More is a much better book.highly recommended.The accompanying exhibition at the Design Museum was very enjoyable too.I particularly liked The mock up of Dieter Rams livivng room - v cool !

hmm. looks like less and more is winning out. however it is a book exclusively about rams.
the braun fifty years of design book is about the whole company.
but then again, I guess Rams IS braun..

There's a surprising amount...
There's a surprising amount of non Rams Braun designs in the book. Other than the fact that the pages are made of thin paper, it is an amazing book.

Having looked at Less and...
Having looked at Less and More, I have to say that I prefer the Fifty years book. That is a fairly concise, reference style book printed on quality paper. The Less and More book has blocks of text that I c.b.a to read. and it's rather large.
