1601 decorating ideas for modern living
A practical guide to home furnishing and interior design, (Hardcover)
Gerd Hatje and Peter Kaspar
This is my absolute favorite modern interior book.
I find something new every time I look. This book was recommended to me when I first started collecting.
Every photo is modern and the book is very affordable

Domus series by Taschen....
I just picked up vol.3, vol.4 and vol.5 of the
Domus 1929-1999 set. I find it quite informative as it presents a very international viewpoint of the mid century movement.

great choice of topic ite
Arts & Architecture is at the top of my wish list. Not exactly affordable, but seems to offer good value for money compared to many other design books.
Domus is great too. I have borrowed the volumes one by one from my local library. I wouldn't necessarily buy the whole set, as the 1950s and 60s collections go a long way. They do look good together though. Probably the best designed backs of all the Taschen collections.
I am also looking at Julius Shulman: Modernism Rediscovered (pic below). Anyone have this?

Modernism Rediscovered
I have the single book edition of this and recommend it highly to any MCM fan - well worth the price for the pictures alone...
