I found a aunthentic Herman Miller Noguchi table on Craigslist today and my husband got it for me for my birthday. It has the Isamu Noguchi laser inscription on the glass and also at the bottom of the wood base. I'm so so happy, never thought I would be able to afford the real thing... The best part of it: it's only $450. 🙂

It's funny I'm a new mid-century design of only less than 2 years and it's rubbing onto my husband as well. Now I think he's even more enthusiastic finding new things at antique shops than me. 🙂 I guess he's a decent man, just sometimes he could a pain in the you know what. 🙂 But that's what husbands are for right? 🙂 Thanks all!

I pay my own bills, buy my own shoes, hang drywall and rotate the tires on my car. I don't need a husband for anything. I just want one.. for partnership, love and a great journey through life. Luckily I found a wonderful one 17 years ago.

If my wife saw me expressing a sentiment about picking up bills and paying for shoes, coats and jewelry, oooh I shudder to think. I think that thinking went out within the first five minutes after the caveman dragged a woman into his cave.

she would be sleeping at her design studio and leave this big old modern mansion for me and my daughter.
It is hard for me to complain since she is such a good gal, she just likes lots and lots of shoes coats and jewelry,
and it is real hard for me get real mad cause i like clocks, lots of clocks, books,and lots of mid century modern furniture, so the venting goes un heard around here,
but at the end of the day she is a pretty good gal and i think she will keep me.
