us what you think re. this subject Frankieboy, tell us which Mags. you read and why you think they are the best.Teach us the wisdom. How about "vodka monthly" or is there a publication called "Bossy old tart who should sober up once in a while" weekly? ooops..thats me!.

Big Magazine is the biggest and most innovatively designed (with a diff creative director per issue) and Metropolis is still the most thoughtful thanks to the Hungarian at the helm.

Big magazine too. Subscriee to many including Metropolis, Met Home, Elle Decor- think World of Interiors is always very well done.

And my hubby brings me back Bo Bedre and Bolig from Denmark when he is there every few months. My Danish vocab includes most of the basic decor nouns and some adjectives but mostly I just look at the pretty pictures...

Dwell was my favorite.
Dwell, in the recent months, has been really boring. It thrived for the first year I read it and was full of modern/classic furniture in livable spaces. I more like the furniture aspect and all I saw in Dwell is gone. The Dwell TV show was a good example of what the magazine was.

favorite rags
We receive Dwell, Modernism, and Atomic Ranch. Modernism and Atomic Ranch are my personal favorites. Dwell seems to be a "lifestyle" type of rag while Modernism and AR are more educational.
