Hello
hi Andy, how do you do?
i found you int.site very interesting and i guess that people are only jealous about the chinise industry and i think that chinise products=bad quality is only a mytos or a preconception.
i own a design studio in Germany and my dream is to grow as professional and my problem is to have a producer for my works!
would you be interested to have a central europe design studio working in partnership with your company?
i´m looking foward to have a unswer from you and maybe we can discuss that subjectrodrigovairinhos@hotmail.com
thank you
chinese design language
currently as I see it, as with most media, the visual, physical chinese language which you wish to see or contribute to design as a movement is in a phase of absorbtion and reduction.
Bombarded by a wealth of foreign influence eager to stake their mark in a land of potential, subject to an audience unused to and uneducated to visual languages of the west.
Education is a key factor, instilling the sense of individualism and promotion of a unique viewpoint, this is sorely lacking.
We will ultimately oneday see a very special and unique vernacular, but this will only come with time, spearheaded by the new guard. After a period of emulation, absorbtion , reduction ..
Im not a chinese designer, but a designer in China, these observations are merely that .. . observations. 🙂

"Most people in the world...
"Most people in the world will finally understand more about China and Chinese culture when they watch the 2008 summer Olympics in Beijing on TV."
when i think of culture i think of the whole package, from arts right down to the grassroots. The Olympics will be a showcase of chinese culture or rather what the chinese want to show the world.
The flipside is that with the eye on Beijing other aspects of culture, social unrest, poverty, inequality will wish to be given the spotlight as well ..
