Did any see the baby modern spot on Today show this AM?
I was too stunned at the prices of the furnished room to note the producers, nor I did catch designer names. But for about $5-6K, a young couple just starting out their family should be able to forsake eating for a few years and have a really nice mini-modern baby room.
On the other hand neo-modern produced a really nice looking, uncluttered, and colorful baby room. But for the prices this was an excellent argument for modern design.
Now THIS is the way to catch your market early!
Another interesting thing was the woman presenting the stuff. She called herself a "lifestyle expert." At first I thought it seemed ludicrous, but then it occurred to me that this was perhaps a positive step toward coordinating alot of the disciplines and product segments that go into people organizing their lives.

Olive, if you read this, I noticed you got another job, but if you still have any interest in moonlighting, this woman's approach might interest you. This woman might have come up with a less intimidating title for what you were trying to do. You called yourself a Professional Organizer, which when I stop to think about it, requires a prospective client to admit to a failing in order to come to you; that is asking alot of a person, at least in the consumer realm. This woman calls herself a lifestyle expert and, well, everyone feels good about having a lifestyle. A fun lifestyle seems more exciting and nurturing than an organized one, if you know what I mean, even though both are underpinned by organization. Just a thought.
