Is this an Authentic Eames Chair?

I am thinking about picking up a Chair from a local seller. As a broke college student, I am not fully prepared to dump a huge sum of money on an exceptionally nice piece of furniture, so I figured I would seek some advise on this particular purchase.

I know very little about Eames products with regards to spotting fakes. This chair seems to be legitimate, but with the number of available fakes, you can't be too careful.

What do you guys think? What would be a fair price?

looks nice!
Looks like its in good shape, I'd imagine they would want upwards of $150-$175 for it...
Check ebay for the going rates.

It does look good - the devil is int he details though. Close ups of the shock mounts and the screw heads etc around them would help. Up close pics of the fiberglass definitely would be ideal.
In general it does look good and I notice one of the glides is missing - so that seems to add weight to the argument.
This type is not a highly sought after piece - but make no mistake it is good.
If you buy it at a market price, be prepared to own it for a while, if you get it very cheap, then you will have the luxury of selling it quickly if you so desire.

A few things to look for: Chips and cracks in the fiberglass, signs of wear, exposure to the elements, etc. Breaks, bends, or rust on the base. Repairs.
Take all of these into consideration when determining price.
