I bought this table from an architect student who bought it used in Michigan (I think). I absolutely LOVE it. It is truly unique. Does anyone know the manufacturer or the year. I have looked all over the net trying to find this table. I am guessing it is a knock-off of some sort. It says PAL 35-2 and some other numbers underneath it. The edges pull out to accomodate the leafs.

THanks!

Just a guess but...
Could it be part of Wormley's Precedent line for Drexel? He did a lot of similar forms for that line although I can't find anything exact. They also used a similar numbering system.

it can't be wormley drexel cuz your tables wood is ash and wormley's precedent line was only done in silver elm i believe.
it looks and articulates like early 50's brown saltman.

thanks!
Oops, I mistyped the numbers. It should have read 3-52. It said "pal dining table 3-52" and then a bunch of numbers after that. I am wondering if the 3-52 means march 1952? I dont know what "pal dining table" means. Does any of this ring a bell with anyone?
