hi,
Does anybody have an idea on these tables the first is made by Cidue but unknown designer & I cannot find another reference for it.
The tiled top is total mystery, everybody I ask seems to have a different opinion "French/Italian/Scandinavian/50/60s". It is signed but cannot find another similar or the signature elsewhere.

First table
...looks like Willy Rizzo.
No idea on the tile table...very cool though. The style of the art seems
Italian to me.

First is cidue ( Italy )....unknown....not rizzo to the best of my knowledge.
second is probably french, there are quite a number of these with different signitures but Id start by looking up signed french tile top coffee tables and see if you can find one with the same sig.

Killian,
There are countless attributions to Rizzo designing for Cidue. The radar alone has a few. The table looks like many he's designed. What am I missing?
Is it just more lies from the lying liars who tell them?
I remember my dad had one of these tables in his office back in the 70's, along with a Percival Lafer sofa and chair in caramel leather, shag carpet, and the ubiquitous marble horse head bookends...

Solange,
There is one table on Rizzo's site that I believe may have been a collaboration with Cidue but its a bar table that opens and not this one. I am not 100% sure on how far the relationship went and how many items were produced / designed.
I contacted Rizzo once and was told that only signed items bearing his name were his designs but the Cidue thing is a grey area as he shows it on his site but they are not signed.
Finally, Rizzo's name has become attached to a multitude of designs he has nothing to do with. For example Mario Sabot tables, Jean charles chairs and tables and BD Lumica lamps are all regularly sold as Rizzo designs.

Thanks..
For your input guys.
I'm in the same quandary with both tables.
I've tried for about six months to find a reference for the tile table without any luck, everybody seems to interpret it differently.
It would be nice to find out some more about the cidue table, looks like rizzo style but again nothing definite & for sure they had more than one designer.

You're right. I don't think it is too.
Could your friend have a look on it and confirm me everything was made by Studio W. Rizzo ?
Thanks in advance.
