Just found out that since September 2006 Alan Fletcher is no more.
Although he worked for Penguin and Phaidon, perhaps he is most known for designing the V&A museum logo. He was a colleague to/ taught by some of the great names of that time: Saul Bass, Paul Rand, Josef Albers ea. He will be missed.
