Was wondering if anyone has any hard evidence that the production of the Wassily chair was licensed to Fasem before the patent expired? I have a pair from the early 80's and the quality is outstanding, but there seems to be some murkyness when it comes to authenticity.

end covers and bolt closeups. Gavina, Knoll and other right Wassily forms by others will have cleaned welded closes, no closure covers. Not genuine adaptations and second rate duplicates will consistently have end covers regardless of whether they are set apart with a made in Italy name. The equivalent applies for a genuine Cesca arm and side seats.

end caps and bolt closeups.

Gavina, Knoll and other correct Wassily versions by others will have polished welded ends, no end caps. Not legit versions and inferior copies will always have end caps even if they are marked with a made in Italy label. The same applies for a real Cesca arm and side chairs.

Those labels seem suspicious.

Also, @joshua-championship I am really sorry I can't be of more use on this actual topic and I'm only posting in relation to our resident bot.

I hope someone here spots this and can help you out.
