I'm not at home (where the books are) and am working on a project and am thinking of resolving the legs in a 'high tech' manner. Could one of you lovely folks flip open the tome and throw some names at me? Off the top of my head something similar was done with a strutty base in black leather and Foster and Rodgers comes to mind but nothings coming up on searches.
