Here's another recent mystery piece. I initially thought it was a one-off made by an artist or in someone's basement based on the crude construction visible under the table top, until I found an identical one with matching end tables for sale on an online vintage marketplace. I bought it on the cheap on Craigslist from a woman who said it came from an estate where it had been used since the 1960s.
The wood is solid walnut, the trim is anodized aluminum, and the legs are brass with plastic caps. The white glass is the same type as on my McCobb bar cart, so I imagine it's vitrolite. There are no labels or stenciling. Any idea who made this? Thanks!
