Hi
I don't have an idea if this sideboard is supposed to be danish, german, swiss, dutch,... No marks or or labels found. This piece of furniture is made in teak on the outside and maple on the inside. Minimalistic design with black lacquered metal handles.
I first rather thought of Behr or Renz, than of an danish maker, but actually that doesn't mean anything
@getthatmonkeyoutofme. I am going to tag @wesemael who knows a lot about Dutch furniture and may be able to give some information.

You're going to need more and better pics unless someone here recognizes it immediately (I don't). Show the drawer construction from side with drawer slid out and interior, underneath to show legs and how attached, show the back, and the interior with a sliding door open.
@getthatmonkeyoutofme. Lots of sideboards have ugly backsides!
Those legs would seem to be later additions.
Nothing wrong with the drawer construction.
Can't help with the ID unfortunately.

@lexi, What makes you suspicious that the legs are a later addition?
My assessment as far as overall quality is concerned is somewhere near mid-range. Good, not unattractive, functional placeholder for when the right one comes along. Maker almost doesn't matter.
@tktoo2. The black metal certainly ties in with the lacquered handles . Maybe it is the cynic in me, but I have seen so many run of the mill pieces with hairpin legs and Ikea chrome legs and then advertised as vintage mid century furniture by well known designers/manufacturers.
In the light of day, I have to admit that the OP's sideboard legs could be original. 😏

@getthatmonkeyoutofme, If your back looks anything like mine, you won't need glue. And the addition of hairpins (functional or ornamental) won't help at all with your chances.
