Tubular Steel and leather chair identification  

Here are the chairs that I own - restoration to begin in a few weeks.
It would be fantastic to know something about them, if anyone can help.

An image search returns a number of examples on several of the large European sales platforms, but none mentions a designer or maker, so assuming all were unmarked.  One example saved only on Pinterest said it was French,  but I couldn't find another that even mentioned a country of origin.  This one pictured with a footstool  is listed by a Dutch dealer.

Thanks - I did a fair bit of research online on these and think I arrived pretty much at the same conclusion.
However - I did not know about the footstool - I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for one of those!!
