@Herringbone. No problem, as for me I agree to each "humble opinion". 😎 

But, my dear @Herringbone - "one finds it interesting, one doesn’t, one likes it, one doesn’t" - that's an amateurish view of design, the quality of a design does not depend on the eye of the inexperienced amateur, but can be clearly defined according to artistic criteria, if you are familiar with art and design and do know these criteria.

Kaare Klint's work in the 1920s was inspired by English furniture designs from the 18th century.  His students  were taught to study/learn from English masterpieces from the past.  Finn Juhl and Borge Mogensen were trained by Kaare Klint and the rest is Danish design furniture history.

@minimoma. What do you mean by that? Every artist/designer is taught in art history. Just a truism.

I’ve had some g plan pieces I have cherished, as well as some beautiful Guy Rogers pieces. The quality was there a lot of the time, especially the older pieces.
