Image searches returned a few examples, like this one by a German seller with a woven seat as you mention.  Saw a couple of others that appeared to be the same chair but with different types of materials and weaving patterns.  Two said they were Italian with one attributing to Gian Franco Legler but none showed any marks or tags, so probably just guessing.  Another one I saw, also a German dealer, listed them as Danish.  Haven't seen Norwegian yet.

Italian could make some sense, with the narrow structure, but who knows... thanks for checking this out !

This one is listed by a French dealer and they say it's Czech.

I'm finding the variation in number of front to rear stretchers really tough. Certainly on the armless chair in the left of that ad, it doesn't appear to be the same design as above.

The bench is obviously entirely different, regardless of whether it was originally from the same place, and the bench is actually very handsome - where I am admittedly less keen on the rest!
