My parents purchased in late 50’s.  The set had two loveseats with one arm at opposites ends and two slipper chairs (sectional??). Looks like Selig but no markings. Any ideas? Thank you!

Yes, appears to be a Selig loveseat by Kofod-Larsen like the one pictured.  It would help if you posted a picture without cushions and from an angle that shows the arm shape

Mark, the two-seater you posted is indeed Selig, but not designed by IKL. It was designed by Lawrence Peabody, who was head of Selig design in the early 50’s. Ishmael on this forum did some excellent research a few years ago and found quite of few vintage documents that clearly connect this, and one other similar Selig lounge chair design, to Peabody. It was a rare case of an American design being made in Denmark. There is even a photo of Peabody chairs staged with Wegner and Mogensen furniture in Denmark.

Here is the photo from 1955, in Dansk Kunsthaandvaerk.

@cdsilva  Thanks for the correction.  I had read those threads and knew Peabody designed the 598 chair, the one shown on the right in the picture from Dansk Kunsthaandvaerk.  I forgot that he had also designed all but one of the other chairs and loveseats from Selig's 1954 collection (as noted in the news story here).
