Interesting... 🙂

That's nice! So... would it be safe to say that these are the Wilhelm Kienzl safari chairs? 🙂 What would the difference between the Klint and Wilhelm Kienzl chairs be?

Good Question!

Unfortunately, I haven't a good answer. Just thought it was curious that billyboy's two chairs displayed obvious differences and that you'd like to be aware of such.

BTW, is that your place in the photo? If so, nicely done. Interesting aesthetic and great pic (except for perhaps the folding chair)! ;^)

A Safari chair by Klint have:

- 3 screws to attach the leather strap armrest to the chair legs (front and back).

- uncarved legs (Klint did not like ornament much).

Additionally, you can clearly see on your pictures that the wooden backrest support goes out on both side, top and bottom. On Klint's chair, it only goes out at the bottom (top is sewn).

There are probably hundreds of other differences but with these 3, you'll be able to spot a Klint Safari chair easily.
