Looks like 1950's Italian.  If you Google "Italian 1950s Lounge Chair" you will see many chairs with the same legs and similar arms.  Not many Italian pieces from that era were marked so it will be a challenge to nail down a maker or designer.

I was more curious to know if it was by the designer  Gio Ponti .

Ponti designed boatloads (literally) of furniture, so who knows, but doing some quick searches I did not see this chair associated with him.  The arm shape on yours is similar enough to these Cassina model 803 chairs from 1954 that you could call it "in the style of" Ponti.  Carlo di Carli and Marco Zanuso also did some similar designs. 

And you could always spend some time on the Ponti archives trying to find it.

• I did try to find out who made this chair , the design is very similar to quite a few designers in the 50' but the Casina model you posted is quite similar . Thank you for your help .
