please help with identification of lamp  

Some time ago I purchased this lamp. I tried to find anything about it, but no luck so far. It has a plastic/lucite/acrylic shade, but a traditional lamp underneath, with two switches, one for uplight, the other for downlight as seen on, for instance, old 50's floor lamps. At first I thought the shade and lamp were a later marriage, but it looks like the shade is original, as the fit and the discoloration are a perfect match. It has a nice trumpet foot, and an old plug and old pull switches. My first thought was 60/70's Italian, but no luck so far. I would very much appreciate any suggestions.
