yeah they do look a bit like copies of that chair, I saw about 10 kubus chairs going cheap in a shop a while ago but the leather was blue and would have cost a packet to get even 2 redone. So maybe they are being targeted if such things are turning up even here.

Definetly not the real Mc. Coy though upholstered with WW material could fit in a Jugendstil(ish) interior.

they were first used in a bar in Vienna around 1907. This bar was called " der Fledermaus " (the bat). That is why this chair is still called the fledermaus chair. I have to say that your chairs look roughly like them, the original has more detail. F.e. wooden 'balls' in front under the armrests and seats.
