Hello,

i have a Papa bear chair with no markings other than a couple of numbers in pencil under the wooden arm pads.I am not sure if it is genuine or a Swedish copy.I have numerous pictures of it with

Excellent photos of details and construction. There are a few images that indicate legit construction. But the one that is clearly a slam dunk, and not often seen in ID photos, is the wedged tenon joint for the front legs. No knockoff has those. Few vintage chairs in general have that detail.

Good luck on the reupholstering. It is a challenging job to do correctly.
