An old sputnik lamp... maker known? Which bulbs  

I don't know much about your technical or electrical skills but if you can access the wiring housing (safely and carefully), there might be some clues there who made it.
Also, it may not help you ID your lamp but the Taschen book "1000 Lights Volume 1" by Fiell has a brief history on the sputnik lamp and was surprised to learn that the American firm Lightolier is credited for the first early versions. Others attributes the sputnik lamp also to Italian designer Gino Sarfatti.

I will do some pics of the electric wiring tomorrow... started to clean it...
Just finished the "antennas"....

Strange... there is just one wire to each bulb and a single wire connected to the globe... seems to be current carrying electricity when switched on...?
At least i have finished the first cleaning step....

Possibly 12V originally wired to an external transformer. Miniature 12V (E10) lamp screw bases are about that diameter and, if the body of the fixture acts as a conductor, as it appears yours does, it would explain a single wire lead to each socket.

Would traditional sputnik bulbs fit? They have a "candelabra" e12 size base.

jesgord, that is one incredible lamp (bulb)! I have to wonder how long something like that might remain available ... if it even still is.
It would help if the OP's photos had included a ruler to provide scale. I suspect the fixture in question is quite small in comparison to typical "sputnik" lamps.

it is smaller than the typical "sputnik" lamps.... ca. 35cm in height (13.75inch)
