Need help identifying shell chairs! Eames or someone else?  

Hello everyone! 

This is my first post here so thank you for your help. Last year I bought these two shell chairs from a flea market and I always wondered if they were original or not. 

So the shape is really similar to the Eames Shell but I have never seen this kind of base anywhere else before.

Underneath the shells there is a stamp with a serial number which I had it translated and it says "Patent n*....  This product has been patented and copying is not permitted"

Any other idea other than Eames? 

I don't know, I am confused! 😀 😀
