thanks for the replies. the frame is an awful lot like this chromcraft (see link). thanks, killian. and, of course, the overman too. not so much on the platner steelcase.
but the fiberglass-base doesn't really jibe with either chromcraft or overman. ah well, super excited to have it in the house.

It is Chromcraft I am 100% sure of that. I have the dining set and they have labels. I have seen the sofa in the same fabric as my set, its unusual fabric, yours appears to have been recovered. The second link you provided is Chromcraft also.

thanks for the link. the fabric on mine is some kind of cotton canvas. thinking about re-upholstery (never thought i'd have a kelly green sofa!), but not quite there yet.

finally got this guy in the house. very pleased. going to need to de-pill the fabric and clean the fiberglass/lacquered base. super excited, though--very comfy!
