Beautiful and rare sputnik ceiling lamps. There are three. The lamps probably are from the 1960s and they are fully chromed. The designer and manufacturer are unfortunately unknown to me, but if I had to guess the origin I would say Italian. The lamps come from a Belgian monastery. The (identical) lamps are very nicely constructed. No arm is the same length, so ‘space’ with all its stars and planets is tangible. I think there is something very human about these lamps and I can understand that they hung in a monastery. The lamps are working and still in very good condition. The chrome has virtually no wear. Sold separately. Price is for 1 lamp.
