Can someone help identify this coffee table, I think it's carved Teak ? table, could not find a makers mark or signature.  I'm almost sure I've seen a photo of this table before just can't recall where. Think it's danish but maybe craft wood studio. Any ideas or info would be much appreciated.

thanks

Appears to be mahogany or similar with crotch (or flame) figured veneer top. Design somewhat unresolved and half-lapped joinery suggests student or amateur work. Likely unique or very limited production piece. Location would help. maybe.

Los Angeles County, CA  😶 Yes I was noticing the the amateurish quality on those joints but still pretty graceful Here are a few pics of the underside I thought it was interestingly put together, the hardware seems to have some age on  it. I appreciate you taking the time, thanks

More photos are always good. Too bad we can't enlarge them (talking to you, DA).

Not veneer. Solid top.Possibly Walnut (?). Try the Hobbit House wood ID site if you want to try to ID species on your own.

My intent was not to disparage amateur joiners. Some are quite talented, though I'm sticking with my initial assessment.

We've still got a little snow in the shady parts around here in MA, but the bluebirds are back. Forecast to hit 50F today.

You can enlarge the pic. Right mousebutton, open in new window, there you go.

Thx for tip Noble Herringbone. Alas, my mouse has neither buttons nor cord. Just a subtle silhouette of partially eaten forbidden fruit...

Eminent tktoo2: In this particular case my attempts to help must come to an end here.
