@herringbone I remember you‘re an expert with these designers. The top part of the back reminds me of Madsen and Schubel.The upholstery is probably not original. Many thanks

@Andersen Nah - I see what you mean regarding the back rest, but no. Totally different chair. I`ve never seen it, but I can have a look. Maybe I'll find a maker.

Thanks for confirming. The armchair is not particularly beautiful, and I wonder if the armrests were added to add a sort of value to the rather bulky and not very elegant chair. Looks comfy though…

You mean the armrests were added later? I don't think so. It is one of many designs in which the companies have tried to find a new angle. In this case, as in many others, it has not been successful.
