KS is short for Korup Stolefabrik. And yes, Kai Kristiansen did design quite a few chairs for Korup. This one also bears some formal similarities to the paperknife chair, he designed for Magnus Olesen, which is probably what leads people to assume that this chair also must have been designed by Kristiansen.

But it wasn't. Henning Kjaernulf is the name behind it. According to the Danish furniture index the chair was presented at the Danish Furniture Fair in 1965 and thus must have been designed around that year.

Could you let me know what chairs Kai Kristiansen designed for Korup? 

There are only 2 chairs when I searched with a word "Korup" on Danish furniture index. They both by henning kjaernulf.

To my knowledge he designed at least these two models for Korup. But since I've never have seen any documentation, I cannot be sure.
