Hi guys! I got this armchair from my grandparents many years ago. Previous fabric had too much cat urine on it so i got it reupholstered without much thought. I have a distant memory of a “made in finland” stamped on the hardboard under the seat but it seems like the upholsterer removed the hardboard and changed it with fabric. It looks like Saarinen armchair to me yet some details dont match.
@kristapsrozitis1gmail-com If it was made in Finland, maybe it's a version of Finnish designer Olli Mannermaa's "Kilta" chair, which was produced from 1955 by Tehokaluste (name changed to Martela in 1974). Cassina also produced a version in the 60's. The legs definitely look more like Mannermaa's chairs than Saarinen's.
