Someone is selling this Florence Knoll credenza locally and I’m wanting to confirm if it is authentic. I searched all over Google and couldn’t find any others like it by Florence Knoll. The seller says there is a Knoll sticker on the bottom. I’m wanting to buy it if it is Knoll since the price is reasonable but don’t want to get scammed.
@ryarchi, Not everything produced by Knoll was designed by Florence Knoll. Even so, you are right to question the seller's motive here. It's great that you've done your own research and I think you should do more, trust what you've learned, and keep looking!
I can’t find any other examples of credenzas made by Knoll that look like this one. It seems that all of the Knoll credenzas have smaller legs underneath and none of them I could find have posts going all the way up. Does this mean this credenza was not made by Knoll? Can someone please confirm if it was made by Knoll or not?
Would you pay the asking price for it if it isn't a Knoll International piece? That's the only question you need to ask yourself.
But the actual question I came here to ask is if it is an actual Knoll credenza. No I don’t want to be scammed by buying a piece of furniture that someone slapped a Knoll sticker onto. Thanks for the feedback but your responses are not helpful because your not identifying the piece of furniture which is the title of the forum topic. I’d really appreciate if someone could help me ID this credenza. I might buy it if it is not Knoll if I can find out who else it was made by.
@ryarchi The pulls and "floating" top design are consistent with Florence Knoll-designed credenzas, but like you, I could not find another with legs like the one you posted. As a contract manufacturer it's possible they did a custom order for a big customer but it seems odd they would alter one of their iconic designs in this way. Maybe it was sold through another division, like hospitality or government. What are the dimensions? Classic two-place FK credenzas are 37.5" wide, 18" deep and 25.5" high. This one looks wider but maybe that's just distortion in the photos. Considering the design similarities and tag, my guess would be that it is authentic.

Thank you so much for this information! It is very helpful!!
Dimensions: 64” wide x 19” deep x 28” high
I ended up buying the credenza and love it! I'm almost certain it is authentic Knoll International because someone on a MCM furniture Facebook group confirm that their friend has one just like it that is Knoll. Also the same date stamped on the Knoll sticker on the bottom is stamped onto the bottom of one of the drawers. The wood joinery on the drawers is consistent with Knoll quality. The credenza weights a ton!
Another clue that it is authentic is that there is some plastic stuck over the Knoll sticker on the bottom that looks like it was a sleeve to hold documentation and the plastic is covering the sticker so there is no way someone could have put that sticker on there later on.
