Hey,
I just bought this (hopefully) Eames EA 217 (soft pad) chair (white leather). But I can't find any of the characteristics an Eames normally has. (small shield at the backrest with Eames signature on it, engraved name or print on the hydraulic lift). But otherwise, it looks real to me. The tension screws for the leather don't seem fake. And the back handle is not screwed in too.
What do you think? And is there a way to let it get certified? I read Vitra has a certification service. But maybe it is a Herman miller version too....

Ohh and if you have an answer, It would be very nice to include the reason for your conclusion too! Thanks a lot!
