Hey all,
I have 6 dining chairs that might be Tapiovaara spindle back Fanett chairs (the model without the slight fold in the front). The mark on the bottom is very faded and cannot be read, but from a Google search it looks like it might be made in Yugoslavia. There also seems to be an upside down triangle under the circular mark.
I would love to know if anyone has seen this stamp before or if anyone has any further thoughts about the chairs’ provenance.
Thank you!
@amelias2. Link to a youtube video giving the history of the Fanett chair.

This " style"chair was produced in different countries and I have seen ones made in Romania.
Stol Kamnik in Yugoslavia also made a version.

Definitely not Tapiovaara, but in the style of.
I think these or similar chairs I have seen from the company Nesto or Hagafors, both Sweden.
In the past successful chair models were copied quiet often, or designer used elements from them. I think so happened also with Fanett chair. The genuine Fanett was first produced by Etsbyverken and later the patent was bought by the company ASKO. Especially Etsbyverken used a mark underneath with manufacturer name and Tapiovaara design. ASKO used only paper stickers which easily could fall off. I had seen both chairs in the past and all ASKO chairs lost their stickers. Here in Germany you can still find them here and there.
The main difference between Fanett chair and your chairs is the number of spindles. Fanett has 6, your chairs have 7. Also the shape and size of the seat is wider at Fanett.
Super information, thank you! I have seen many stamped Fanett chairs with 7 spindles. I believe the model 55(T) had 6 spindles and the model 65(T) had 7. Here is an Edsby Verken version that looks (exactly?) like mine:

i have also found them made by Yugoslavian Stol Kamnik, as @lexi said above:
Thoughts?
Thank you so much for engaging with me on this!
@amelias2: Yes, I do think Tapoivaara made a few chair designs which were similar to each other, also I have seen somewhere a source about this. I will do some further research later on. But I think the one called "Fanett", was only this one with 6 spindles on the youtube video from Lexi.
@amelias2. If you look through all the Fanett " style" chairs online ,especially the underside of the seat, you will see there are a few different shapes where the legs are inserted.
You can then compare your chairs to well marked examples and maybe you will find your answer.
