These three pieces are part of a large and pretty nice household of Danish modern furnishings. I've identified many, but am not having much luck with these and need to be sure I'm not missing anything significant, since the heirs will need to sell everything and I don't want them to get shortchanged. Any observations will be helpful. I'm going to take the liberty of posting two more photos in a second post - hope that's not too much (just discovered this forum today while researching -- what a fabulous resource!) Thanks, Alex

Founders.....
Your sofa is designed by milo baughman for founders. I just bought
a pair of Founders aluminum framed lounge chairs from the family of a successful sales rep for founders furniture. He still has the sales catalogues
i hope they sell me. The founders line is not as desirable as as other Baughman lines of furniture. Good luck!

Mario,
Do you know if the catalogs the sales rep has include mention of Baughman as the designer of any of these pieces? I was under the impression that Founders pieces were only "in the manner of" Baughman.

Hi MC
No, i was offered a group of furnishings at the home that will be for sale.
The better furniture and catalogues were stored elsewhere and were not for sale yet.
I remember that sling sofa in an Interiors Magazine ad by founders which stated that Milo Baughman was the designer. I"ll look for it and post it.
I purchased these two Founders aluminum chairs and two Design institute of america tables.

Harvey Probber
Hey Mario,
The two chairs you pictured are widely noted to be designed by Harvey Probber. I haven't seen an example that bears the Harvey Probber label but there are numerous online sources that attribute them as such. While I am no expert on Probber, I am also not aware of any link between him and Founders. I am curious what info you have on those pieces.

Thank you Artsnot
Thank you for the correction, i guess i have taken information for granted, which is not a good thing.
Good to know the real story.
Apologies for my earlier post which are inaccurate.
Sorry

Need estimate
I have a Founders rosewood and chrome, sling sofa that I need to sell as soon as possible, but have no idea of the value. We originally had it in our office, then at home, and it has been in my husband's fine art studio for the past few years. He has now passed away.
The sofa does have wear, especially on the arms, but overall it is in very good condition. I don't currently have photographs but can get some soon.
There is also a pair of Founders armless chairs that are a companion to this sofa (rosewood and chrome). They were reupholstered a few years ago, so don't match it anymore.
If someone could please give me a general estimate of what I might ask for this sofa and/or possibly these chairs, it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.

Found a price
With a little further searching, I found a Founders Sling Sofa listed with a design firm for $6,400! Condition is listed as "Wear consistent with age and use" Interesting! What do you have to say about that evaluation?

A seller can ASK for any price; the important number is the price at which an object actually sells.
You've made a good start; the next step is to look for selling prices. You could try searching Ebay completed listings, auction results (many auction houses list their results on the web, and there are web sites that aggregate auction results from many auction houses), etc. You might also talk to local furniture dealers.
This forum, however, is not a good place to get that sort of information. From the forum guidelines (accessible by clicking the "GUIDE TO USE THIS FORUM - Please read before posting! Thank you." link at the top of the threads list):
"Requests to identify objects are welcome as long as the object is believed to be modern, post-modern or contemporary (no antiques). You may ask for help identifying an object's designer, producer, period, style, material etc. -- but not its commercial value. This forum is not a free valuation service."

Apologies
First let me apologize for stepping over the line. I must admit that I actually didn't see the rules until after I had posted. I came in directly to this thread, and registeed from there, rather than the home page.
You mirrored my thoughts about "selling" vs "asking" price, as getting that would be a bit of a dream for me, and certainly not what I would have asked.
I do so appreciate your advice. If it is allowed, if you could give the name of some of the sites you mentioned, it would be tremendous help. My husband was quite a collector, and was always going to make notes of the value of so many of his things. He just never got around to it. Hint to the wise..... keep records!
Thank you so much,
Barbara

worthpoint.com is one popular valuation site. They have auction results from brick-and-mortar auction houses as well as an enormous number of results from eBay auctions, and I think they also have a network of experts and appraisers who might be able to help you.
Others might have recommendations for additional web sites.
Here's one sofa on worthpoint that seems to match your description; if you sign up for a free trial, worthpoint will tell you what it sold for last year on eBay:
